About the business and the role

With offices in South West Sydney & the Hunter Valley, this growing law firm provides quality legal services to clients in a range of areas including conveyancing, environmental & government, family, commercial, wills & probate and property matters. The business requires a passionate and dedicated conveyancer to join their team in Cessnock.

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • End to end process of contracts
  • Conducting searches
  • Liaising with financial institutions and providing settlement calculations
  • Attending settlements
  • Following up with banks, and all stakeholders on all conveyancing matters
  • Update and maintain the legal database records (LEAP System)
  • Process of legal documentation for the law firm's legal teams

Skills and experience

This is an ideal opportunity to use your experience and enhance your career providing a wide range of conveyancing services. You will have 2 years conveyancing experience, be a licensed conveyancer and looking to join a well-respected firm.

The successful candidate will be a team player, experience running own files from start to end and have outstanding organisational and communication skills as well as flexibility to diversify and work under pressure, the ability to take instructions and have a flexible can do attitude. Experience using LEAP software desirable.

Your attention to detail will be exceptional, your attitude towards conveyancing passionate, and your ambition to succeed and be challenged second to none.

You will be client focused and confident with the ability to liaise with all parties regarding the conveyancing transactions and work as part of a united team where the end goal is meeting client needs.
